High Speed PCB Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented High-Speed PCB Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing multi-layer, high-speed PCBs for FPGA and SoC-based systems. The role requires strong knowledge of PCB design principles, signal integrity, and high-speed interface design to ensure reliable, production-ready boards.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop multi-layer, high-speed PCBs for FPGA, SoC, and embedded systems.

  • Ensure signal integrity, power integrity, impedance control, and EMI/EMC compliance in PCB designs.

  • Perform high-speed constraint management for DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, and other high-speed interfaces.

  • Generate and validate Gerber, ODB++, and other manufacturing files for production.

  • Work with hardware engineers to conduct design reviews, validation, and debugging of prototypes.

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of PCB design tools, fabrication technologies, and industry best practices.

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of proven experience in PCB design (multi-layer, high-speed boards).

  • Proficiency in PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad or similar.

  • Strong understanding of signal integrity, high-speed routing, power distribution networks, and differential pair routing.

  • Experience with DDR, PCIe, Ethernet, USB, HDMI, and other high-speed protocols.

  • Familiarity with simulation tools for SI/PI/EMC.

  • Knowledge of PCB manufacturing processes, stack-up design, and DFM/DFT practices.

  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and datasheets for FPGA/SoCs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field is a plus.

  • Experience working with FPGA and SoC evaluation boards.

  • Knowledge of EMC standards and compliance testing.

  • Familiarity with Agile hardware development practices.
