Fast Attack Craft Missile 3

QVISE engaged with CSDDC / CSOC, signed the contract for Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) development in July 2017, and commenced the project. This Project was completed in record time of one year i.e. June 2018. The IPS scope was from Design Phase through to Construction Phase. The scope of the contract included.

With the Designer and Purchaser, QVISE experts facilitated the selection of equipment – best suited for achieving performance goals / mission. Accordingly, Ship Fit Definition (SFD) was prepared with exact Make/Model indicating new & identical system. After erection of the machinery on-board, physical audit of the equipment was conducted to verify changes along with verifying the Serial Number, location and Make / Model of all equipment.
Configuration Management (CM) is divided into seven main categories i.e. Hull structure, Propulsion, Power Generation & Distribution, NAVAID & Communication, Auxiliaries, Outfitting & Furnishing and Armament. Entire ship was configured following the above categories. For configuring the ship and its equipment, the standards followed were MIL-STD-973, MIL-HDBK-61A and SAE EIA 649-C. As for the Configuration Identifiers (ESWBS structure) – in accordance with American Standard S9040-AA-IDX-010/SWBS Volume I & II.
PSA – an iterative process to optimize maintenance in accordance with the client’s maintenance concept and support infrastructure to achieve measurable objectives. For this Project, the analysis was conducted on 35 equipment that included FMECA, RCM, MTA and LORA on the basis of relevant standards and Logistic Support Analysis Record (LPD) for the same was provided to the customer.
MMS of 160 equipment was prepared as per BR-1313 and required documents were prepared for Planning, Executing and Recording of Maintenance routines.
We added an inventory of around 25000 distinct parts and added various codes as per US DoD instruction / NAVSUP P-488 COSAL Handbook. Onboard ship allowance i.e. COSAL was calculated as per FLSIP (Fleet Logistic Support Improvement Program) 0.5 for 90 days of operation, whereas COSMAL allowance for 3 years was also calculated as per the relevant provisions of forecasting. Accordingly, low and high levels of the store was also established as per ship’s usage. Furthermore, provided List of all recommended workshop machinery, equipment, tools, test equipment, Special To Type Tools, Test Equipment and test benches to PN Dockyard. Moreover, supplied Training syllabi along with cost of BMT for major equipment / system of Level 3 & 4.
Local Area Network (LAN) (wired & wireless) network was also installed onboard the ship for hooking up the craft with repair agencies, Intermediate Bases and Supply Depots. The complete networking completed in 15 days.
