Mid-Level Ionic App Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Ionic Developer to join our development team. As an Ionic Developer, you will be responsible for building cross-platform mobile applications with clean, efficient, and maintainable code. You will work closely with designers and backend engineers to develop high-quality mobile experiences, integrate APIs, and ensure seamless performance across Android and iOS devices. You will also participate in troubleshooting, optimizing, and enhancing existing applications while contributing to best practices and code standards.

Qualification

Bachelor’s in Computer Science/Software Engineering, or an equivalent diploma/certification in software development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile apps using (v4+) with Angular.

  • Work on both new and existing applications — improving performance, UI, and functionality.

  • Integrate REST APIs, Firebase, and third-party services (payment gateways, maps, chat, etc.).

  • Collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and project managers in an Agile/Scrum setup.

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize app performance for Android and iOS.

  • Utilize Git for version control and manage builds efficiently.

  • Handle app publishing on the Play Store and App Store.

  • Contribute to backend development using Node.js/Express + MongoDB when needed.

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of professional experience with Ionic Framework (v4+).

  • Strong hands-on skills with Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

  • Solid understanding of Firebase (Auth, Push Notifications, Realtime DB, etc.).

  • Experience with API integrations, third-party plugins, and native device features (Camera, GPS, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Git, Jira, and Agile/Scrum workflows.

  • Experience publishing apps on the Play Store / App Store.

  • Basic UI/UX understanding or familiarity with tools like Figma / Adobe XD.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
